Most locos and waggons had to be modified to represent the prototypes of my favourite line.
Larger images(1770dpi, 90 to 590kb JPEG) are available by clicking n the small images shown. Now, after all, it seems that I have to take these pictures again with better equipment as one can see looking at the 54 and 89. Those are taken with a Nikon Coolpix 600.
Recently added: a short portrait of the new Fleischmann Class 70, former bavarian Pt2/3
| The latest 54.16 on service was the 54 1632
(bayG3/4Ha) of Bw Nuernberg Rbf. Based on a TRIX-H0-model it is not too
difficult to realise an acceptable to scale copy of the prototype . I
have replaced the horrible TRIX wheelsets with Rivarossi-wheels of the
Maffei-made wuertt. K (59.0). The leading wheels have been equipped with
a spring suspension and spring centralisator to improve track holding
with finescale wheels. Front details are already added. Brake air- and
waterpump will be added soon. The fine-scale driving wheels from MP arrived eventually on Christmas 2000. The are on the model now. A photo is available at http://www.railforum.de/modellbahn/. |

Seligenstadt - Volkach was the last branch line which saw the 89.8 (bay R3/3) on regular train service. I have remotorized, slightly modified and superdetailed a very nice Rivarossi model. |

| 94 1730 (pr. T14) of the first production series of Fleischmann in December 1979 is being looked after at the 'works' now. Already with Weinert-parts replaced are all rods, lights, steps and the motor. I will further add the Riggenbach-Gegendruckbremse (steam-break for steep lines/inclines, a speciality of this prototype), various handles etc. | ![]() |
| A decent Gms30 (DRG Oppeln with short wheelbase and brakeman's cabin) is not on the market. A model with the exact proportions of the wheelbase can be made by using a Fleischmann Gr20 case, modifying the doors to hanging doors, using the chassis of an Omm Duisburg of Sachsenmodelle. | ![]() |
| 2-8-2 class 86 tank engine close to Haßfurt station. Oringinal by Gützold, modified with Weinert-details and Fauhlhaber-motor. Still not running smoothly has it been replaced by a recent Fleischmann model. This track has been taken down last year. | ![]() |
